Gearing Up!
We are about a month away from launching The Relational Church into the community! On Sunday, September 13th, we will hold our first Sunday Morning Gathering at the Novi Library on 10 Mile Rd. just east of Taft Rd. It is an exciting prospect for us, but one that needs prayer from our prayer partner team. As we try to usher in the Kingdom of God in our local community, we will undoubtably face resistance from Satan, and the prayers of our friends and family around the country will most certainly be needed.
Please pray for our leaders. Pray for strength and faith during this transition, and that we would not fall into any temptation. One of the quickest ways to unravel a church is for their leaders to fall off the path of following God’s ways.
Pray for our community. We do not know who God has in mind to bring our way, but ask God to send people to meet us and learn about Him and the love He has for us. It is a trying time for families in the midst of economic uncertainty, so please pray that we can meet the needs of the community in order to express God’s love to them.
Also, this coming Sunday (August 23rd), our church is heading up north for a retreat after our morning gathering. We are traveling to Camp Lael to seek out God and His direction in our lives. We will also be starting our spiritual formation groups and having time for food, fun, and fellowship. Please pray for safe travels and that we would be willing and able to hear from God.
