God’s Prime Directive

Heart Scripture Romans 10:8:15, 20

If you say that God is most important in your life don’t you think you need to know what is most important to God?

The Bible tells about two sets of ancient history that co-exist at the same time. In short, the Scriptures explains that there are people who believe in their heart and follow God and another group who never really believed (were either half-hearted or completely rejected believing in Him) and rebelled against God’s commands.
History repeats itself.

Any person who wins every time will probably never really mature.  And, if you learn to deal in a positive way when you are losing then you will never really be a loser.

Have you ever asked yourself why, if you are doing all the right things in God’s eyes, then why do bad things happen to you?  Or, why does it seem that bad people seem to get away with things while good people seem to take unjust punishment for other problems?

Spiritual Formation Sunday

Join us during our bible study hour for a spiritual formation small group session.  This month we will be sharing and hearing each other’s spiritual journeys.  Our goal with these small groups is to encourage one another with examples of how God worked in others’ lives and how it brought them to the people they are today.

Our church will host spiritual formation small groups on the last Sunday of each month after our morning worship gathering.  Anyone and everyone is welcome to join, whether its your first time at our church or you’ve been a life-long follower of Christ.  We will be breaking into men’s and women’s small groups to provide a space of security for those that want to really dig deep and share important issues on their hearts.

Faith is relying on God to do the impossible.  Throughout the Bible, people were in situations having no chance, but God succeeded despite their evaluations.  With God, the odds of success are mathematically represented as 1:1 (or 100 percent certainty that He will be victorious).

Soft-Launch Prayers

Its finally here!  Our soft-launch date is just a few days away.  This Sunday will be our first worship gathering in a public place at the Novi Public Library.

Our prayer partners can pray for protection as we start to invite more community members to visit our church and get to know us as people.  Also, pray for guidance and wisdom from the Lord, that we can represent him in a respectful and genuine manner.

Additionally, our musical worship will be taking on a different flavor as we will have a PA system to hook up to.  Please pray that God takes care of all the electrical ‘bugs’ that sometimes plague musical equipment.
