Dreams, Visions, Plans
Genesis 12:1-9, 17:1-8
Every book that has been written, painting that was painted, building that was built, or business that emerged all started with one dream. The dream could be doing something that we have never done before, or perhaps no one else either. Yet, dreams can vaporize unless the person or persons firmly believe the dream can become a reality.
The reality of a dream is envisioning how the form of the concept can become reality. Dreams are vague and are loosely tied to reality. Visions, on the other hand, bring our rational thinking processes to “see” with our mind’s eye many possible concepts that might succeed in making the dream come true. It is during this vision stage that we need to accurately weigh our tangible assets (time, energy, knowledge, money, etc.).
