How Men and Women Think Differently
Titus 2:1-8
1 As for you, Titus, promote the kind of living that reflects wholesome teaching. 2 Teach the older men to exercise self-control, to be worthy of respect, and to live wisely. They must have sound faith and be filled with love and patience.
3 Similarly, teach the older women to live in a way that honors God. They must not slander others or be heavy drinkers. Instead, they should teach others what is good. 4 These older women must train the younger women to love their husbands and their children, 5 to live wisely and be pure, to work in their homes, to do good, and to be submissive to their husbands. Then they will not bring shame on the word of God.
Discussion: What Is Most Important To You?
You Are Going on a One-Way Trip!
Thanks to a sizable donation from an anonymous donor, all participants at today’s discussion are being relocated to a foreign country to help populate the area!
You only have ten bags of luggage at your home with which to pack the things that are most important to you. Remember, this is a one-way trip, you are not coming back and you cannot mail anything after you arrive at our mystery location. That being said, you can pack anything!
Easter Celebration 2011
A special Easter Sunday celebration where we will partake in a meal similar to the one Jesus and the apostles shared during Passover, now known as the Last Supper.
The meal will include lamb, figs, dates, deviled eggs (ok Jesus didn’t have that but our church loves ‘em), non alcoholic special beverages.
Special thanks to Drew Coker, our specialist in dietary cuisine matters, who gave us the inspiration.
Communion will take place after the meal, as Jesus shared with his disciples before His death on the cross.
